Case Interview

A case interview presents a business problem for you to work through aloud, common in consulting, strategy, and some finance and management roles. It tests structured thinking, not memorized answers: how you break the problem down, use data, and reach a defensible recommendation matters more than a single right number.

Practise a clear structure: clarify the question, lay out a framework, work through the parts with the interviewer, and finish with a crisp recommendation and its risks. Think out loud, do rough math confidently, and treat it as a collaboration, not a test to survive silently. A few practice cases beforehand make a large difference.
