Final Exit Visa

A final exit visa is the permit that lets an expatriate leave Saudi Arabia permanently at the end of employment, cancelling their residency. Under the labour reforms a worker can request it independently through Absher after the contract ends or proper notice is served, rather than depending on the employer's approval.

It differs from an exit and re-entry visa, which is for temporary travel while keeping your Iqama. Settle final dues, gratuity, and any obligations before you leave, because the final exit closes your legal status in the Kingdom. Timing matters, so coordinate it with your notice period and any onward job. Rules change, so confirm the current process on Absher or with the Ministry.
