Terms of Service

1. About Yalliq

These Terms govern your use of Yalliq ("Yalliq", "we", "us"), an AI-powered career tool that helps job seekers across the MENA region tailor CVs, generate cover letters, and score job fit. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy at yalliq.com/privacy.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old and of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a contract. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. If you use Yalliq on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. Licence to use the service

Subject to these Terms and your selected plan, Yalliq grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the service for your personal job-search activities.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service unlawfully or to infringe any third-party rights;
• upload content you do not have the right to use, including CVs or material belonging to another person without their consent;
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or circumvent technical limits;
• send malware, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the integrity of the service;
• resell or redistribute the service or its outputs as a competing product;
• use the service to generate or distribute spam, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or otherwise unlawful content.

5. AI outputs and your content

Yalliq uses third-party AI models to generate text suggestions including but not limited to tailored CV sections, cover letters, and fit scores. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying everything you submit to employers. Yalliq is not a substitute for professional career, legal, or immigration advice.

You retain ownership of the CVs, job descriptions, and personal information you upload ("Your Content"). You grant Yalliq a limited licence to host, process, and transmit Your Content solely to provide the service to you. We may remove or restrict outputs and suspend accounts that repeatedly produce or distribute infringing or prohibited content.

Your Content may contain personal data. Please review our Privacy Policy at yalliq.com/privacy for details on how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data, including your rights under applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

Yalliq and its underlying software, branding, documentation, and design are owned by Yalliq and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the service or its IP to you.

7. Payments, subscriptions and billing

Paid plans such as Yalliq Pro are billed monthly or annually based on the plan you select. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or via Paddle's customer portal at paddle.com/accounts. Access continues until the end of the current paid period.

8. Service availability

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations of our acceptable-use rules. You may stop using the service at any time. On termination, your right to use the service ends. We will delete your account data within 90 days of termination unless we are required by law to retain it for longer.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yalliq is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, opportunities, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
