Salary Certificate

A salary certificate is an official letter from your current employer stating your salary and employment details, used mainly for bank loans, credit cards, rentals, and some visa or family-sponsorship steps. It is not a job-application document, but Gulf life runs on it, and a new employer may reference it when shaping an offer.

Request it from HR when you need to prove income, and check whether it states your basic salary or your full package, since the two differ and matter for loan limits and sponsorship thresholds. Do not confuse it with an experience certificate, which is about your role and dates rather than pay. How Gulf pay is actually structured: Gulf salary package guide.
