As a jobseeker, your Emirates ID status signals your residency situation, and its number often appears on applications and contracts. It is issued alongside your residence visa after the medical fitness test and biometrics, so a lapsed ID usually means a lapsed visa to resolve first. On a CV you do not print the number, but being ID-and-visa ready is worth signalling. How residency status reads to a UAE employer: UAE CV format guide.
Emirates ID
The Emirates ID is the mandatory identity card for every UAE citizen and resident, issued by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship. Linked to your residency, it is required for government services, banking, tenancy, and healthcare, and its number is used across systems. Employers reference it, and its issuance is part of the work-visa process.
